The hardest part of starting anything is starting. So congratulations! You’ve stepped over the line; something is drawing you to begin a Courageous Girls group for your daughter. To build the best foundation for your new group, follow the steps listed at the bottom of this page.
You are worth it. She is worth it.
We’ve provided you with everything you’ll need along the way—including a faith-informed curriculum for grades 2-12 that’s entirely FREE.
That’s right — there’s no cost to start a Courageous Girls group!
The only thing missing is your unique fingerprint, along with other mamas and daughters. As you sink into trusting God each step of the way, believe that He is with you, going before you and empowering you to be a catalyst for transforming relationships.

Read the CG Leader Handbook & watch
the Training Videos
Learn about Courageous Girls groups from founder Terra Mattson. Read the CG Leader Handbook and watch the training videos. Then read her book, Courageous: Being Daughters Rooted in Grace.
PRAY
and ask 4-8 Moms to join you.
The ideal size for a CG group is four to eight moms with their daughters who are within a year of one another in age.
REGISTER
your group
Complete our Courageous Girls Registration Form to get connected to all the resources CG offers and be the first to hear about updates and upcoming events. Then, make sure you invite every mom in your group to register too!

Get the age-appropriate curriculum designed for your group. After you register (step 3 above) you will be instructed to go to our CG Curriculum page, set up an account, and access the FREE digital curriculum. You can also purchase a printed copy of the book in the CG Shop.
CURRICULUM
Prepare yourself and your team to lead your daughters well. Re-visit our Lead Your Group page for helpful tips and then download the new CG app from your favorite app store. After registering your group on the app you will be able to invite members to join your private chat, use the polling tool, share prayer requests and more!
Leadership is necessary. Great leadership is even more essential. God will use your obedient “yes” to grow you, your own faith and your relationship with your daughter as she watches you step out to start this group with her in mind! We are right beside you as your coaches.
